Sephora Savings Event 2023
Here is my round up for what you shouldn’t miss during the Sephora Savings Event.
But first! This is only going to cover skincare because that is my absolute favorite area of the store and I could ramble on and on about all different categories. So stay tuned because once I get this hammered out I might jump into makeup, hair and body care if I have time and those pages will be linked here.

Skincare Recs
Cleansers
I love how creamy and satisfying this feels to use. This doesn’t dry out or strip my skin. It has a nice lather and the fragrance is fresh and feels like I’m at a spa.
Kate Sommerville ExfoliKate Exfoliating Cleanser with AHAs & Enzymes
I love how this has AHAs and Enzymes for a deep clean. I don’t use this daily but really do notice a difference when I incorporate this into my routine a couple times a week. It really foams up and feels great for a deep clean.
So gentle and basic— but in the best way! This cleanser has been around for years and years. If you are looking for an everyday cleanser that you will want to use for the next decade, this is it. No fragrance either.
Biossance Squalane + Amino Aloe Cleanser
This has a pump and I cannot tell you how much I love a cleanser with a pump especially after using an oil cleanser. This is gentle and has a nice fresh scent but not from added fragrance. This has squalane but also amino acids so I would definitely recommend this for combo skin.
Toner/Mists
Farmacy Brighten Up 3% TXA Dark Spot Toner with Azelaic Acid
I like to pour this directly in the palm of my hand and press into my skin. Azelaic has been wonderful for dark spots and i’m hooked!
Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant
I’ve been using this for years! Amazing for those days when my skin feels extra congested and has really helped with my hormonal acne.
Kosas Plump + Juicy Vegan Collagen + Probiotic Spray-On Serum
On busy days I will make this part of my 4 step skincare routine. Cleanser, kosas mist, moisturizer and follow with SPF.
Youth To The People Adaptogen Soothe + Hydrate Activated Mist with Peptides
I love the packaging for easy use- this soothes my skin and preps for the next steps in my skincare routine. IT IS HUGE too and 3-4 sprays will last a long time.
She’s pricey but I love to layer this on by pouring a few drops into my hands and pressing into my skin. I will do this 3-4x or more if needed.
Serums + Treatments
INNBeauty Project Retinol Remix
I love how it’s an all in one product. A lot of people are nervous about retinol and also which products they can and cannot use in the same routine. This takes all the guess work out of that scenario since it has tranexamic acid and peptides.
A mini glossary for you :)
-Tranexamic is great for reducing the appearance of dark spots
-Peptides are known for leaving the skin plump and firm
Biossance Squalane + Copper Peptide Rapid Plumping Serum
This is a mega hydrator and has collagen boosting copper peptides. This is for all skin types and anyone who wants to focus on visibly reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, dullness, and loss of firmness and elasticity. and what a deallllllll this is!
Topicals Faded Serum for Dark Spots & Discoloration
This is a cream-gel-serum that really does work! It’s great for dark spots but also has worked really well for hormonal acne and break outs in general. This is gentle in the sense that it does not irriatete my skin even with nightly use. I will use this on aYlternating nights- retinol on the other nights. HOWEVER- this does have an intense smell and it’s not good. Reminds me of burning plastic to be honest. But it’s worth it- if you can get past the smell you will be good to go.
Youth To The People 15% Vitamin C + Clean Caffeine Energy Serum
Loved this one for a long timeeeee. This helps with fading dark spots, overall brightening the skin and it has caffeine which is known to help depuff. Smells like ginger ale too which in my opinion is a bonus
Summer Fridays CC Me Vitamin C + Niacinamide Serum
2 forms of Vitamin C (3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid + ASCORBYL GLUCOSIDE), Squalane + Peptide Complex and Niacinamide
This is like a morning cocktail for my skin!
Best for: who doesn't want to layer serums and instead just wants to apply one that will do it all (hydration, brightening, barrier protection etc.) one of my absolute faves. I’ve talked about this serum a lot and it’s sill top of the top for me.
Moisturizers
Biossance Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Brightening Moisturizer
I love to use this and pair down my skincare steps. Since this has vitamin C I will put this one on when I’m in a time crunch and just need to get out the door. If you are a busy person and don’t have time for a 5-10 step skincare routine just slap this on and some sunscreen and you are out the door.
Tatcha The Dewy Skin Cream Plumping & Hydrating Moisturizer
The dewy cream! This is Tatcha’s best selling moisturizer and the one that comes to mind when most people talk about the brand. I love how this doesn’t feel heavy like a rich cream. It’s great for dry skin and anyone who is looking for a moisturizer to compliement a dewy makeup look.
Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Refillable Moisturizing Cream with Squalane
A classssssic! This is great for so many skin types and is fragrance free. I love this as a basic- go -to reliable moisturizer. When you think of the classic moisturizer that everyone loves- this is probable the ONE!
Masks
Caudalie Pore Minimizing Instant Detox Mask
I leave this on for 10 minutes and honestly the texture of my skin feels softer and what’s even more satisfying is looking at the before and after of my pores. Here is a video of what the mask looks like on: Caudalie Mask Video
Brightening with vitamin C but I love how this doesn’t truly dry down and ever make your skin feel tight. Here was more what the mask looks like on my face— it’s a gorgeous purple color Tatcha Mask Video
Eye
Youth to The People Peptides + C Energy Eye Concentrate with Vitamin C and Caffeine
This is an eye serum that works great under reusable under eye masks and has the caffeine that I love so much for its depuffing effect.

INNBeauty Project Bright & Tight Dark Circle Firming Eye Cream with Vitamin C & Peptides
I love how this is in a pump. I'm partial to eye products that are easy to apply and the integrity of the formula is maintained through smart packaging.
This also makes concealer optional! So I love this for everyday and especially the "no-makeup" days. It has subtle shimmer to help balance out and distracted from any dark circles under they eye. It also has forms of vitamin C to help brighten over time.
Peace Out Retinol Retinol Eye Stick
If you know- you knowwww! I adore this stick since it has enapuslated retinol and is so gentle but also equally convenient and fun to use! Pro tip- warm up the stick on the back of your hand before apply to the eye area to minimize tugging and to get that glide. Here is a video on the stick

MINERAL BASEDBiossance Squalane + Zinc Sheer Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30 PA +++
This has a lotion texture and is truly one of the best mineral sunscreens I have ever put on my face! It does not leave that heavy/ dry feeling that most mineral sunscreens have. This has squalane in it and my skin loves it! I know yours will too!
Summer Fridays ShadeDrops Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Mineral Milk Sunscreen
I love loveeee a milky texture for SPF! I was bummed to see this was mineral because in all honesty- mineral spf is really annoying and hard to get right! BUT they got it right! This is luxurious and beautiful and reminds me of the Tatcha Silk SPF (which I also love) but SummerFridays does not have a prominent tint (it doesn't need one!). This is gentle and great for layering under makeup. Sensitive skin will love this one! Here is a video about the Shade Drops
Tatcha The Silk Sunscreen Mineral Broad Spectrum SPF 50 PA++++ with Hyaluronic Acid and Niacinamide
This also doubles as a primer and it has a tint to balance out a white cast. This is SPF 50 which is another reason why it made the favorites list. Tatcha is working on the packaging since it tends to peel off so just be warned.
CHEMICAL BASEDInnisfree Daily UV Defense Invisible Broad Spectrum SPF 36 Sunscreen
This is only $16 and is truly the cheapest sunscreen you can buy at Sephora but it’s also one of my favorites. This has a mild fragrance and lotion texture. Broad Spectrum SPF 36

My whole family loves this! Its an essentail for vacations and for my kids who both have sensitive skin and have dealt with many different sun rashes due to certain sunscreens. This is a winner for us. NOTE: we do not like the spray version of this for sensitive skin.
Supergoop! Glowscreen Body Sunscreen SPF 40 PA+++
This is gorgeous and creamy and leaves my skin looking truly glowy without the transfer. I think this is a great option for everyday body spf
And that’s kind of all… there actually is so much more but I’m going to have to come back later and add more :)
