The Ordinary Quick Review
So this was definitely going to be a post where I share two products I love and two products I don’t. 3 faves made it in by accident so here we go with some #5secondreviews
Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA - This reminds me of Protini by drunk elephant. Like a lot. I haven’t looked at the side-by-side ingredients but the texture and feel are VERY similar. And this little baby is $5.80
100% Organic Rose Hip Seed Oil - My combo/dry skin loves this! A lot of people say this oxidizes fast but I have never had an issue. I love this oil and use it till the last drop. It’s more a “greasy” oil if that makes sense. I don’t feel like you could fry and egg on my forehead like other oils.
Lactic Acid 10% + HA - I use this is a mask and then rinse it off after 5-10 minutes. Always patch test! I’m not a big fan of the Ordinary’s peeling solution. It’s just too much for my skin. But using this as a flash treatment is jussssst right!
Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 - here it is. I’m not a fan of this one! Why? It’s too thick and always ends up pilling. Instead I like Marine Hyaluronics because it has a water texture but still does what it claims.
I get a lot of questions like “do you like the ordinary?”. Yes. What I LOVE about the ordinary is how they have so many products and options. Does that mean every product is going to be my favorite and work well for my particular skin type? No. And that’s a good thing because everyone’s skin is different!
